Hanna.

You free to walk around for a while?

[It's been a few days since his first surgery, and while he's still a little rough at the edges, a walk might do him good.]

Yeah! I'd like to get out of the house for a bit. You don't mind if I go a little slow, right?

I'll carry you if you want.

[ a beat; ]

I'm not joking.

[He almost laughs, but then. Riku was being serious.]

I don't know if that would work... [His chest is what's sore, and he can't bend too well right now.] We could try it? You want to meet me in the living room? I'll get some clothes on and my shoes...

I said if you want. [ amused, now. ]

I'll meet you.

[It takes a few minutes for Hanna to get dressed decently. Much to his dismay, it's more comfortable to not wear any clothes up top, but if they're going to go for a walk, he'd rather not freeze his ass off.

But, wearing a overly-large button down and loose sweater, he appears in the living room, kicking his shoes along and holding a pair of socks.] Riku?

[ he turns, smiling slightly when he sees him, looking him over to make sure he's alright.

riku tries to come by when he can, but with xion and roxas not on good terms with him, and being awkward around lea, and still having vriska be angry at him, he can rarely do much but set food down for them to eat and then walk away. it makes for more time between him and terra, of course, and riku likes that... but he'd like a bit of time with his friends, too.

it's difficult to get any time with friends when he's walking on eggshells. ]

Hey.

Sure you're okay with walking outside?

[Hanna thinks all his friends should sit down and talk because this whole 'not getting along' thing is getting a little old. He's totally not impressed either. Though he doesn't want to just tell Vriska to talk it out with Riku either because then she'll do it just because he asked her to, rather than wanting to fix anything.

But regardless, seeing Riku makes him smile and he nods, sure that he wants to go outside. He sits on the couch, trying his best to put on his socks without bending and manages, toeing his shoes on, thankful they don't have any laces.] Yeah! I'm totally fine. Just, no running need apply.

[He moves forward a little closer, gently putting his arms around Riku in a light hug before stepping back, ready.] I'm good to go, how about you?

[ oh, that hug catches him by surprise, but he pats his back gently with a small smile. ]

I'm good.

I need a bit of time apart from, you know. [ he blushes a little, shrugging a shoulder. you know, clinging to Terra. ] The house.

Sounds like a plan.

[Hanna nods knowingly though, looping his arm with Riku's and making his way towards the door.] I hear you. I love that people care, but being taken care of isn't always fun.

[ he practically lights up when Hanna says that, becoming a little enthusiastic. ]

Yeah, that's what I mean!

[ but he realizes it all too soon, and he blushes. ]

It's just... kind of overwhelming when you're taken care of a lot, right?

[That gets Hanna to laugh, grinning at the way Riku is suddenly animated, leaning against him as they move towards the door.] You're cute.

But, yeah. You can sometimes it can get a little too much. And you'd rather be alone. I get that. I mean, Vriska and Lea can get a little too clingy when I'm sick, but...usually I don't mind. It all depends.

Hey, I'm not. [ he's careful when he wraps an arm around him, shivering as a wall of cold hits him. ]

I don't mind being around him. I like it. [ just, an awkward pause, with an awkward laugh along with it. ] He's just really focused on protecting me, it kind of feels like he's setting me up on a pillow with a... protective bubble, and floaties.

Yeah, you really are. [Hanna doesn't mind the cold quite as much since he's got a few layers on and a hat, but he can feel it inside, like a chill creeping into his scar and he's not sure he likes it. It wasn't this sensitive to cold before.]

Now you know how I feel. I hardly get to do anything on my own, and I know I can't fight as good as you, Lea or Vriska, but its still like you're handling me with kid gloves sometimes.

[ he hadn't really... thought about that, before. combining what he feels sometimes with terra and how he views hanna, he realizes that it is similar... and it's understandable, he realizes, as to why hanna feels coddled. because he does, too. ]

... oh. I get it. [ he dips his head down a little and chuckles. ] Sorry, Hanna. I guess... I didn't realize what I could've been doing.

And I'll have you know I've been living on my own since I was sixteen. I'm not completely helpless.

[He nudges Riku gently and smiles at him.] Just, don't forget it. I don't mind when I need it, but yanno. Sometimes it's unnecessary.

[ a nod, as he smiles back. ]

Good deal.

I think I'll remember.

Alright. I'll hold you to that and won't hesitate to remind you!

But, you still owe me an explaination of you and Terra, huh? Is that something we're going to talk about now cause I've been dying to know.

[ urk, he scratches his cheek. ]

Th-there's not much to say...

Obviously because I didn't hear about it till after the fact.

Hey, I told you why.

[Hanna's going to glance up at him and shrug.] Yeah, and I told you that it happened before Lea left for a week.

[Not that he's mad.]

[ huff. ]

He told me he... felt like he wanted to kiss me. It was weird, I remember that night he was talking about, and being nervous, but not really knowing why. It wasn't really a discussion, he said he couldn't keep being my Master when he felt that way. I think he thought he might take advantage of me.

But, I guess... I realized there was something off, so I told him I had to think about something. Joshua helped me realize that I liked him back--but I couldn't see it because [ hesitation; a sigh. ] ... I didn't think I deserved anyone.

[Hanna listens, raising his eyebrow a little, but not commenting. He doesn't really say much of anything until Riku gets to the last part, frowning.]

Yeah, well. I hope you realized that you were wrong because even I think I deserve someone. Whether or not I'm able to keep them is the other thing, but it's seemed to work out just fine. You have to stop letting your worries get in the way and yanno, do that listen to your heart thing that people from your world always talk about.

It'll tell you something, I'm sure. But...I'm glad you're happy with it. To be honest, I was a bit worried since yanno, you said you weren't interested in any of that, but if everything is all good and square then I have nothing to be concerned about.

[ hanna's reaction makes him a little wary. ]
