Okay, it was stupid. Good. I'm glad we both agree.

And...you're never going to try something like that again, right? [Since it kind of hit close to home. A little closer than he'd like to admit with how he had been treated the last time Riku was here.

And that means I'm going to stick around. Like glue or something.

[ riku awkwardly regards hanna. he's never used the term 'best friends' for anyone but sora and kairi, and while, the last time he was here, he seemingly extended that to hanna... he truthfully can't. hanna is a good, close friend, but--he's not sora or kairi. ]

I get it. [ it's a little reserved. ] I won't treat you like that again.

[Leaning against Riku a little more heavily, he sighs, shaking his head.]

You know, if you don't agree with something, i'm not going to bite your head off for speaking your mind, Riku. [Because even if he can't tell to easily, the pauses kind of give him away.]

Everyone else seems to. [ he mutters quietly, keeping his eyes away from hanna. he gives a low exhale before; ] It's nothing. Don't worry about it, just me thinking.

[Still, he figures he should drop it, since they had been doing so well...] Anyways, how is it with Terra? Do you guys um, sleep in the same room when you're over there?

[And he's not asking to be nosy, just...] I mean, do you sleep a little easier?

[ way to light him up like a christmas tree. ]

[ nngh. he puts a hand against his face. ]

Yeah, we do. The nightmares are still bad, it's just... [ he looks at the ground, a little subdued. ] better to wake up with someone there.

[Hanna is at least a little more gentle than some people.] I know how that is. Kind of nice to be warm, and held...not have to worry about being alone, or waiting out the night by yourself.

... is it bad to want that, just for a little while?

[ it's out before riku can really realize himself, but hanna seemed to understand when it came down to the similar way of protectiveness between their boyfriends... he'd understand this, too, right? ]

You could want it forever and still be okay, Riku.

[ the way he looks at hanna, it's obvious he's always thought the opposite. ]

Really. You know, even people who like to stick to themselves still enjoy human contact every once in a while.

It's in human nature to be social...Just like you need the sun, it gives you vitamin D that helps balance your moods. Socializing is the same way. So no one can blame you for wanting to be held. It's something everyone wants at some point. [He's going to just smile at him and gently nudge his side.]

I'm sure Terra doesn't mind holding you either. It's kind of a give and take thing, everyone is happy.

[ he looks a little embarrassed when hanna reminds him that terra probably doesn't mind holding him--no, he figures terra likes it, with the frequency he does hold him... ]

I guess so, right? Just... feels weird, sometimes. [ he shrinks a little. ] Like... I'm bothering him. Even if I know he wants to do it--

Hey, I know how that is. I felt like I was being creepy or weird when I asked if I could move myself into Lea's room...but he offered first and I still felt bad about it.

It just comes with being used to not having that, I guess.

[God, don't do that Riku. It kind of makes him smile that stupid, watery smile and he doesn't like it when you see because gosh. Embarrassing.]

[ teasing, of course. that watery smile makes him that much fonder. ]

[ riku laughs more at hanna's reaction. ]
