Well, if I think of something, or we have a problem, I promise I'll tell you, okay? I get that you want to be considerate, but you don't need to ask about it at all. Makes you sound like you're anticipating conflict and...well, I want you to have more confidence in us, than that. Get it?

[He doesn't mind when she braids his hair. Its curly enough anyways that it doesn't make much of a difference regardless.]

Oh...There's just this horrible thing that people give dogs away once they grow up because they're not cute any more. [He doesn't do that, obviously, since he still has Daniel, but...]

[she lightly tugs a strand of his hair before starting another braid, contentedly snuggling closer]
