[He reaches up to curl some of her hair around a finger and grins.] I like all of you too.

Are you going to start braiding my hair, too?

I think If I tried It'd end up in a giant knot. [Hanna doesn't know shit about hair, man. Can't you tell? His is usually a mess...even if he does try to make it look nice.]

I think I'll just uh, content myself with looking. [Besides, braiding hair is totally not a manly thing to do.]

[He had found a brush and washed it a few months out. Its missing a few bristles, but...it works?]

[she whisks the end of a just-finished braid against his cheek]

I'll be right back. [And yes, he doesn't even care that he's going to be walking through part of the house with half a head of braids.]

[she flops back on the bed, fake-pouting]

Bluh. I didn't know you'd have to get up.

[but she curls up and waits for him]

Naw, don't worry. It'll worth it, promise. [He calls this from the bathroom in the hall, finding his brush and cleaning it out before coming back into the room to sit down next to her.]

My mom used to brush my hair for me sometimes, since it'd only look nice when she did it. It was really nice...

[Vriska tugs him closer, pulling up the blankets at the same time as she wraps an arm around his middle (careful, as ever, of his staples and scars)]

[she knows his parents can be a hard topic to talk about, but a large part of her likes that he trusts and is comfortable enough with her to bring them up]

I'll probably not be as good, but we'll see.

[He settles where she pulls him too, not minding being moved at all and starts to run the brush through her hair, starting at the bottom like his mom used to. Her hair was much longer than Hanna's anyways, so he couldn't just brush it regularly or it was going to hurt.] How's that?

You're just trying to prove that you're a better hair-brusher than Alois, aren't you!

[she pokes his arm]

It's good; it doesn't hurt. Just be careful with the tangles; I bet there are a lot of them.

No! You just said you had tangles.

[He is very careful though, finding some tangles and slowly and gently working them out as he continues brushing.]

[she snuggles up with a happy hum]

Yeah, well, even if Alois was the best hair-brusher in the world I'd still like it better when you did it.

I think you're just a little biased.

Of course I'm biased, but it's a good biased, right? ... And you are good at it. No pulling or yanking or anything.
