Vriska! [He catches her by the shoulder and pulls her back against him in a hug. He doesn't care about the wall so much as if her hand is okay...There is plenty of damages inside, from the holes from crossbow bolts to the scorch marks in the front entry.]

[her knuckles are bleeding, but she doesn't seem to notice]

He-- changed himself into Pitch. He said he wasn't gone. He made me think everything was normal; he made me act all...

Wait, seriously? [Hanna's grip on her shoulder tightens.]

I...What a dick. Is he still here? [So he can kick his ass.]

[she shakes her head]

There isn't anything wrong with that. [He pulls her a little closer, hugging her more tightly.] It's people who prey on that hope that are the stupid ones. Fucking assholes.

I wanted it to be true so badly, and I didn't even think too much about how he could still be here if his PCD was offline. I asked and he didn't really answer; I should have been suspicious.

Ive never heard of Pitch aside from the boogeyman story, which I dunno. Maybe its the same...but its worth a try!

Normal people on his world don't know him as "Pitch". A lot of them can't even see him, and don't believe he exists.

Well, you will only learn if you try I suppose...
