I promised Lea, if it came down to it, to be me or him, I'd do my best to make sure it wasn't me.

And I did that, and because of it, I feel like I lost something of myself. Because all I wanted was a fight, and he gave me more than I wanted, because of his wounded pride, and I don't think he would have stopped even if I apologized. Fuck that. We're in too deep as it is...

If he's going after you, he's opening up the possibility of you going after him. It's not like it was out of nowhere. I like the guy, but he sure as hell wasn't innocent.

I don't know a ton about humans, but from what I do know... you being all worried and guilty is a good sign. If you'd really lost your humanity and become violent and hard like a troll, you wouldn't feel bad at all. But you do. You still have it, Hanna.

[He lets her hug him, kind of just standing there and recieving it because that admission was draining and he just wants to be held for a moment.]

I don't understand how people can do that...and not lose so much of themselves. It's hard....and it hurts.

Don't worry, these aren't that bad. I asked Urahara for some burn cream, though, and he was a total pain about it. He forced me to tell him where they were from and everything!

Hey, don't worry about it. That guy, he's like...a father figure type from what I can tell. He wants to know the whole truth, I think, because then he can help you better when he does.

Yeah, but Zell's powers mostly get out of control like that when we're making out and stuff, and so Urahara teased me about that and it was really embarrassing.
