Vriska, Wai-

[And then she hangs up on him.]

[Hanna 8(]

[and then the 28th comes and she immediately comes back to the House on the Rock, looking around for Hanna]

[that's two months in a row that an event has made her do something awful to him, and she really wants to find him and make sure he's as okay as he can be]

[It's been a rough week, looking for her, but any attempt to get a hold didn't go over well.

Obviously last week should just be written off as 'oh god this sucks'.]

[she's just going to keep looking around the house until she finds him (or determines that he's not there)-- she wants to see him in person rather than contacting him over the PCD]

[And he'll be there, In the back actually, even if he should be in bed. Surgery on the fourteenth didn't help this last week go any better.

But he's kind of done being in bed.]

[she walks up, quietly, and leans against the wall]

... Events suck.

[Hanna jumps, having not been aware of her approach, and looks up. The surprise quickly turns to relief though once he realizes who it is.]

Holy fuck...thank god. I was worried about you!

I know.

Did you forget about anything?

[if he had, that might have been at least a little bit of a distraction-- but since when are the Animus ever nice to Hanna?]

No...but I guess thats good. I mean, what if I forgot why I was getting surgery? That'd be pretty damn freaky.

Urahara would have remembered.

... I'm really, really sorry, Hanna.

I meant...more like, why I was getting it or something.

[He can't say much else other than he can't blame her. It wasn't her fault.] You're fine...it was just really weird is all. And kind of awful.

[normally she wouldn't even ask before giving him one, but this is kind of a special case-- less than a week ago she was telling him she had no idea who he was]

You don't need to ask, silly. Just...be careful okay?

[He's still really freaking sore.] No squeezing.

[she goes over and puts her arms around his shoulders, holding on loosely but securely]

I'll give you anything you want me to, Hanna. You deserve it.

And so do you, just saying Vriska.

[And he returns the loose hug, a hand of his going around her back and he leans gently against her.] I just...man. last week was a trip.

I know.

And if you think that someday I'm going to do it in real life and be like, "It was just a silly crush and now I'm over it; I lost my feelings and you're not that special"...

[DRAMATIC PAUSE]

... I'm going to have to kick your ass.

[Hanna has a laugh bubble up, shaking his head. That reminds him of something he had said once...]

I'll remember.

... Hey. Remember when I flew you up to the top of that wheel ride last year?

Yeah!

That was last summer, right? Man...if the electricity hadn't been so horribly dangerous, we should have gone to the amusement park and gone on rides...that would have been fun.

That would have been awesome.

... But I was thinking we could go tonight. You know, so you could see the sunset from up there and everything. I could carry you carefully, aaaaaaaand I have a plan of how to make you more comfortable up there, so you wouldn't be all sore sitting on metal.

[Hanna looks a little hesitant, but...well?]

If I can bring blankets and stuff and you're really careful, that'd be fun...

If you really want to do it, I have a plan! You'd have to give me about half an hour to set it up, though.

Okay, okay. I'd love to.

Just make sure we don't miss the sunset!

[she kisses his cheek, then readies her rocketboots to zoom off]
