[Hanna doesn't look up when Ryoji calls for him. He's got a yellow scarf around his neck though, Axel's and a bottle in his hand that has yet to be opened. At least he's got two glasses to share between the two of them. A few other things of Axel's are scattered around, some things he'd given Hanna and it seems he's kind of just stayed down there all of yesterday. He hasn't changed, his arms are still scraped up.

Definitely not much moving him from his spot down there.]

Down here...

[Hearing the other's voice, he moved forward, and after finally noticing the other, he moved closer. ... Oh, they had yellow scarves to match. Ryoji wasn't sure if any of the things here belonged to Axel, but he could take a guess.]

Hey...

[Kneeling down beside him. Hanna definitely didn't look so good, but pointing that out would be kind of idiotic, considering.]

[Definitely a good guess, Ryoji.]

Hey. [He actually does look up though, he could hear him coming down the stairs. This was one of the reasons why he had stayed down here, if someone was coming, there was really only one way to get in after they had shut up most of the trap doors. The ones still in use lead to different parts under the house and not the basement area.

He couldn't be so easily caught off guard down here.]

I was trying to figure out if I wanted to open this...I wanted to save it, but...I guess there isn't really any reason to now.

Ah, are you sure...? If it's something special...

[...maybe Hanna should save it for a better time, after all? ... Then again, what would be a better time? Hanna could probably disappear from this place just as easily, and...]

... Well, it's your call. Me and the guys started our little Moonshine factory again, so I can promise to share a few bottles with you once it gets ready, at least. It might not be the tastiest of things, but...

Axel gave it to me for Christmas. [He murmurs the words, staring at the bottle in hand before looking up at Ryoji. The difference between saving it and waiting, he's sure is the difference between being miserable and forgetting for at least a moment.

Except Hanna really shouldn't drink when he's depressed, it always ends badly.] Yeah, but that doesn't get me smashed now, that gets me smashed later.

[He unscrews the cap of the bottle, obviously making up his mind as he pours two glasses, offering one to Ryoji.] Booze is booze.

If it's a gift from Axel... [...then Hanna should keep it for himself, Ryoji was about to say. But then Hanna went ahead and opened it, anyway. It made him feel a bit bad, but... maybe the red-head did have a point with that, too.]

[Ryoji turned to take a seat beside Hanna, reaching for the glass that was being offered to him.]

If it's of any comfort, I probably won't be needing a lot of that... I get drunk pretty easily.

[That pulls a laugh out of him, nodding.] Me neither.

[Especially if he drinks it quickly. Which he's planning on doing as takes a very healthy few drinks and drains his glass. He hadn't bothered to measure out shots, though there is probably a good two or three in Ryoji's glass.

But he's already pouring himself another, ignoring the very nice burn that follows the drink down his throat. It was smooth enough he could probably just drink it out of the bottle, but...he's not so sure Ryoji would appreciate that.]

[Oh... well. This probably won't take long for either of them, then. Normally, Ryoji would tell Hanna to slow down, but... considering the situation, he didn't really have the heart to. Hanna probably needed that.

Ryoji takes just a bigger sip of the stuff himself, not really trusting his ability to swallow a whole glass at once. He was here to keep Hanna company, after all, not to pass out in the following ten minutes. And yeah... this thing is strong. The liquid going down his throat already gives way to a warm feeling in his stomach, his cheeks turning the tiniest bit red.]

Would you like to talk? I know it might be hard right now, but... it helps, for the longer run.

[Hanna stares at his new glass a minute, shaking his had at Ryoji's question.] I will in a few minutes. Another of one of these will help.

[He isn't exactly trusting himself to talk about it sober. He just...wishes that he was one of those people who forgot what they did when they get drunk, but...He's rather cursed with a good memory.]

Alright, then... I suppose there's no rush with anything.

[Ryoji observes Hanna for a bit before turning back to his own glass again. Another small sip probably won't hurt...

They could also talk about something more trivial in the meantime to keep themselves distracted.]

Do you have some kind of favorite type of alcohol?
