[He's still a little dirty from the scuffle, Axel's jacket hung up after he had dragged him to their room, but he seems too stubborn to want to go back in to grab a change of clothes. So, when he sits down on the couch, rearranging his lone blanket and pillow, he brushes his pants off and goes to lay down.]

I'm fine. It's just going to bruise is all. Those go away. [He's quiet after that, curling up under the blanket and resting the not bruised half of his face on the pillow. There's this sickening worry starting to creep in, that maybe this is a bad idea. And that maybe he should say sorry, but there's also this stubbornness that makes him not want to say anything at all. But, finally he mumbles softly into his pillow, not looking up at all.] Good night.

[Axel hesitates in the doorway for a long moment, then slowly crosses the room to Hanna's side. He reaches out to rest his hand on the pillow, summoning up a little magic - enough to handle a bruise, and murmuring Cure.]

[The magic feels smooth and warm. A complete opposite from the hot, rage he had seen all over Axel's face a few hours earlier. He's afraid that if he opens his eyes and looks up he's going to cry, so he just squeezes them tight and hides his face under the blanket.]

[Sleep sounded completely unappealing, but going outside sounded worse. He could always lie in bed and stare at the ceiling, though. It was a great nostalgic pastime.

Keeping his teeth shut against the temptation to lash out, or possibly grovel, he turned to walk away.]

Love you... [Hanna had waited until he's sure Axel couldn't have heard him before whispering it. Habit had almost made him say it more loudly as Axel walked away, but being mad, and wanting Axel to know he was mad, he hadn't said anything beyond the good night.

But, even if he was mad, that didn't change the fact that he still loved Axel. Saying it to himself though made him feel both a little better, and hundreds of times worse, his thoughts of their fight and the entire evening leading him into a down spiral. He highly doubted that he was going to sleep at all tonight. Or the night after. But over all, he wanted to make it clear that when he was mad, and that when Axel broke promises, he wasn't just going to lay down and take it. And so, even if it sucked, and he might not feel quite so pissed off as he did in the morning, he didn't want making up to be too much on his mind just yet.]
