[Hanna's kind of run down after all that's happened lately. He's still mad at Axel, still mad at Demyx, and just can't seem to find a break.]

[Regardless, he isn't expecting this conversation to be a pleasant one. His patience is shredded thin and his ability to keep his emotions in check are pretty low right now. To be honest he feels like he's affected by an event, but he's not. It's just all that stress that comes with fighting people.]

[she comes walking up the steps about fifteen minutes later, moving more slowly than usual]

[at the door, she hesitates, and almost knocks; at the last minute, she realizes how stupid that is and just goes on in]

Hanna?

[He calls for her from the her room, seeing as he guesses there is the most privacy in there.]

In your room!

[peeeeeks in]

[Hanna looks at up to see her and gives a week smile.]

Nothing much. I haven't been talking to anyone really. How about you?

[she shrugs-- then, quickly walks over and pulls him against her in a hug]

[she had told herself she wasn't going to do this, but he doesn't look so good]

Bad day?

[He hugs her tightly back, but he feels guilty about it.] You don't have to if you don't want to...I can handle it.

[He pulls back, just a little.] Besides, you're still mad right? [Just like everyone else. While it might have started as Hanna being mad at Demyx and Axel, the whole thing had kind of exploded, and right now he's not so sure what to do about it.]

I always want to, Hanna.

[but she pulls back too]

I'm not mad, I'm just... frustrated. I guess that's a good word for it. And I think there's some stuff we need to talk about.

If you're sure...

[He sighs and slumps, waiting for her to speak.] Alright...

[she leans forward and lightly closes her fingers around his, looking down their hands as she speaks]

I know it would be really hard for a human to try being in a troll relationship. That's why I never asked you to be my moirail, even with all the fussing and advice-giving and danger-stopping we do for each other. But, you know, it's really hard being a troll trying to fit into a human relationship, too! Really, really, really hard.

... So I think we should compromise more. I don't want to do everything the human way. And it would be hard and confusing and weird, but it would be like that for both of us, not just one of us, and we could help each other out with it.

[He's a little surprised to be honest. With the way this past week has gone, he had almost expected her to break away from him, but this is better than he expected. Hanna looks down at their hands and smiles, just a little.]

You'll definitely have to explain it to me...but I think I'd like to try. You just have to give me a learning curve is all.

Okay, well...

[she takes a deep breath]

First thing? I want you to try sharing my room too. I get that it's different from what humans do, but you can't be sure you don't like it if you won't try, right? And after a little while, if it's still not really working for you, it's not like you won't be able to just go back to the way things are now.

[He frowns, but not because of her first request, but how she had phrased it.] Hey, I never said I didn't like sleeping in your room.

To be honest...I never thought anyone would like me enough to sleep in the same room as me. It makes me really happy that you'd even ask. Like, that's a big thing for me.

Just, choosing between the two is really complicated, you know? It's like when someone asks a child who they love more, their mom or their dad. I know you don't get the reference, but there isn't much choosing between people you love, and when you have too it just feels like a battle.

And I get your side of it too...so. I'll try my best to make you happy. You just have to tell me what I need to do.

But I don't get why you have to choose! I guess that's why it hurt so much when you did choose him. I thought it would be really cool if you lived in both rooms, but when I asked if you wanted to do that, you said you only wanted to be in his.

I'm not asking who you love more. But I want to be with you, too.

Okay, okay. We don't have to talk about that part. It's gone and over, and we're changing it, right?

[He's just a little stumped at how they're going to do this.] So...I just, how are we going to figure out which room I stay in each night? I guess I just didn't think a schedule would make anyone happy, since what if someone got hurt, or had a cold, or I dunno, inspiration suddenly hit and I'd be up all night and not want to wake anyone up.

I dunno.

A schedule would be kind of dumb. How about you just say both rooms are your rooms and each night you can do whatever you feel like? You can keep your stuff in both rooms, too.

[He thinks about it, shrugging.] We could try that, but I think i'd lose stuff easier...

But we'll see.

We could help you find stuff! And I can clean up my room, too. I know it's a mess. It's always been a mess; my respite block on Alternia was, too. But I'd do it for you. I could make it the neatest room in the whole house.

Hey, you don't have to change it up. I mean, I don't have too much stuff so I won't add to the mess. My place back home was messy too until Zombro moved in and started cleaning stuff a little.

[He settles though, curious if there is anything else she'd like to add.]

So, that's it? Or...did you have any other plans in mind?

I don't mind you adding to the mess. You can make it as messy as you want! Or not. It's your room too so you get a choice.
