I don't know. It's sweet that you want to, but I don't even know if it's your job to fix it. Or if you can. Sometimes it's not just you, it's... everything. The Animus. Those scientists. This place. All the stuff you can make me forget, and I guess Axel can make you forget.

Well...I don't want you to be unhappy...and you just seem so miserable every once in a while.

[He hugs her tightly and sighs.] I just...find that it helps to remind myself that i've got a family here. That's more than I had back home, more than I could hope for, and focus on that and anything else...it helps, sometimes.
