[He usually is rather quick to come up with excuses for other people, to explain away behavior that hurts him because it makes it easier to say it wasn't intentional and make it feel like it doesn't hurt as badly as it did, but not right now.

He looks up from his cup, not having touched it, but at least appreciating it's warmth and the gentle smell of chocolate and cinnamon.]

I...Don't know what I want... the urge to crawl in a fucking whole and not exist is pretty high if I'm being honest.

I would like to wrap you up into a blanket like a sushi roll, keep feeding you warm drinks, put on ridiculous, mindless movies, and sit with you while we watch.

[He cracks the smallest little smile, eyes still a little watery.]

I veto the sushi roll. [He sets the cup down behind him on the counter and nods in the direction of his bed.] Just cause I'd rather lay on you under the covers with our mindless movie. Just be warned I'm like...exhausted? So you'll be trapped pretty quick if you wanted to do anything else this evening.

[ A pause. ]

[Something in his heart hurts when he says so, tightening his grip on his arm.]

Forgive me: I have no intention of going anywhere tonight. So if you happen to black out on top of me, I would be entirely amenable to it.

His tight grip loosens as he starts to shift himself off his stool.]

You better be, cause my bony ass is gonna lay on you so hard.

[ He puts his hand over his heart. ]

Oh, I am. It's not like a literal thing. All of me is bony though, so take your pick.

[He walks over to his set of drawers, kicking off his pants to find something comfier and not magically cleaned by john to sleep in. He seems to have replaced his spiderman lounge pants the last visit home, slipping those on and pulling off his sweater with his back turned to Vincent to put a T-shirt on instead.]

[Because anything set around christmas is obviously a christmas movie.]

If I fall asleep before the kitchen scene we're going to have to watch it again tomorrow.
