If you haven't written 'I'm sorry I trapped your Inmate in a box and shattered his mind so you could go find the pieces in a big Ole scavenger hunt across the barge' on them, I'll probably still eat them, but I better hear something close to that coming out of your mouth.

I was planning on saying that with my mouth, not with food.

Hopefully the coffee isn't as blursed as you are or else maybe I don't want it.

It's not. If nothing else, I make good coffee.

[She's very fussy about her coffee tbh. She sets the carafe down on the counter, and the brownies, before going back to close the door.]

So, you ready to make annoyed noises at me?

[He walks over to the counter and snags a stool, investigating the brownies.]

Mmmm...yes. How about we start with fuck you for making me have to tattle on you to Arthur for trapping someone. That sucked. And it made me feel bad, like...he was really upset. Great gift, ten out of ten. Good job.

[She hummed gently, following him back to the counter, looking for a mug to pour their drinks in.

And while she paused at the swearing, she finished, before turning to leaning against the counter.]

My only excuse is...well. I wanted to make sure he got the little beast. Vincent, I mean.

[He points out a cupboard with a bunch of mix-matched mugs, though notably all the target branded ones seem to be gone. So long Target.

He does roll his eyes as he helps himself to a brownie square.]

Or, you should have not done it at all. Like, I appreciate that you and Vin get along, but working behind my back to punish someone on my behalf is also shitty.

Yes, a week in zero is not exactly comparable to what he did to me, but you really expected me to ask for an eye for an eye? I had to set that aside the moment he got assigned to me, but here you both are, dragging it back to the front.

[She thanks him, before looking for various mugs that are not, currently, cat themed. Seemed pretty awful.]

To be fair to both of us, the Flauros took us longer than anticipated. It is a bit of a miracle we could make it at all.

However- we both know you wouldn't. Not even if you graduated.

And frankly, this helped us channel our rage. You're not being fair to us either Hanna.

Don't expect us to be righteous and noble when that's not who we are.

Especially not me.

[He hasn't said what he did with it to anyone. It's currently sealed and hidden away in the depths of his closet, cloaked and quiet. Like he'd get rid of a masterwork like that.]

I'm not expecting you to be righteous and noble. I'm not either of those things myself, but the point is, it was presented as a gift.

If you wanted to settle your own shit, at least have the decency to leave me out of your vengeance plots. I respect you enough to understand why you did it, maybe extend me the same when I say 'please don't fucking do that for me again.'

I think Vincent wanted to make sure that you wouldn't have to worry that we tossed him off the Barge.

I don't know. I would have just snuck out the pieces myself.

Yeah, well I regularly check on my cat and seeing him show up multiple places on the Barge or in either of your rooms would be 'storm the castle' level of bullshit if I wasn't informed.

[He takes another bite of brownie and extends a hand to her.]

Apology accepted, now shake on it that the fucking with my Inmate is over for his past crimes and I'll call us even, huh?

Good thing Vincent purposefully did it in front of you huh?

And I was watching for anything going overboard.

[She smiled at him, before taking his hand to shake.]

No more revenge on the Cat King for past crimes.

[Yeah, no promise on future crimes. She's pretty sure there will be some.]

[He wasn't lying when he expected her to be some kind of boyscout. Promises for future crimes is bullshit even if it is awkward for him. He just doesn't want a cycle of vengeance between an obviously petty cat and his good friends.]

Thank you. Matter settled. Now I can tell you these are fucking delicious.

[She still might punch CK when she sees him, but that's most likely due to being pushed at least. She ain't perfect.]

[She turned, and offered Hanna a mug.]

We're even thinking of making...you'll love this...security blankets.

[Hanna takes it with a nod, sipping away despite how hot it is. Cannot wait for Coffee, must consume now.

Though he does snort some of it, coughing.]

W-what? Why? Does John...need a security blanket?

[Hanna in his true form: coffee demon. She snorted.]

We're planning on making it for other people. Dunno what spells they'll have just yet, but something nice.

[Just when he wants to get something done, it really does help and he's been staring at that same page for like an hour. All these headaches and trying to figure out how to get ahead of the mess that his teacher friend and boyfriend had created.]

Oh...You know, that makes much more sense. You could just make a blanket that dispels a chill. Magically cozy. That sounds nice...Now I want one.

I mean...we're planning on weaving it together. So...it's certainly possible?

I'll add it to your glove order.

[Her voice was light and teasing.]

At this point, you're going to be all prepared for the winter. All you need is some cute little ear muffs of protection. Maybe some socks.

[She takes a sip of her coffee.]

Or maybe you can share the blanket for movie nights?

I do not do earmuffs, they're never big enough to cover my stupid ears, but I definitely do like a nice beanie.

[He could definitely use it for snuggling on movie nights though, definitely.]

I mean, also a good medical blanket, help with shock and all that probably, but cuddling is also a good one, it'd probably be the most used scenario with a movie night.

Your ears are not large. But sure, we can do you a beanie.

[She chuckled quietly. Hanna snuggling up to Vincent was a cute image.]

I mean, I could weave it in. For shock, certainly, happy feelings, naturally. Blood clotting....eeeeh. Bandages are better. More sterile.

Yeaaaah...no bleeding all over the safety blanket. Get patched up first, then good vibes blankey is the right order, I think...
