[It seems someone has decided to change his voicemail following graduation. Hes trying so hard to sound professional, business like, but Hanna's usual enthusiasm bleeds through easily.]
You have reached the mailbox of Hanna Cross. If you don't have an appointment, my secretary will follow up with a return message shortly. [a short pause.] meaning me. I'll get back to you, don't worry.
And if this is an emergency what are you doing on the phone? Cardio is your friend. byyyye!
Re: Audio
[Is the very quiet response, but he understands what he means even if he feels like he's being scolded by his dad. Havent felt that in a good long while.]
I stuck around that first time to make sure he wasn't going to freak out. He was obviously irritated, which is the point but ten minute bubble time out isn't cruel, it's inconvenient.
I don't hurt people for fun, Sheehan. And when I may or may not have given Sokie a stack of sticky notes, I told her wardrobe only. No cabins, those are off limits.
She might take it too far, but I figure she'll wear herself out at some point when she gets bored of it. Better petty than a fucking murder spree.
Re: Audio
Ten minutes, Hanna?
What if something happened? What if he was hurt? What if I was and he couldn't get to me?
Re: Audio
[Ignoring the fact that there are definitely more of those little bubble traps laying in wait. Its probably fine.]
If you try and account for all the what ifs it's a wonder you can even get out of bed and do anything. I think, you're mad at Sokie, and you're taking it out on me.
[Or his name isn't Hanna 'it isn't my fault' Cross.]
Re: Audio
And are you always there when the trap is set?
Hanna, you should know better than this.
Re: Audio
W-well, no? But it's technically a protection spell, he should be safe when he's in there. No in and out privileges.
[God dammit, Sheehan, now he feels bad. He's going to play so much bad trumpet next time he's so shift with you.]
I didn't do anything wrong. He's fine and you're over reacting.
Re: Audio
He's safe and he can't get to anyone else.
This isn't a playground.
I know you think it's harmless, but when someone else comes to tell you that you can cause harm, you owe them to at least think about it.
I'm relieved he's unhurt. I hope for your sake that nothing does happen the next time to him or anyone else.
Re: Audio
What ever. I'll...I'll get rid of them if you and Arthur are so fucking sensitive you can't manage ten minutes apart.
But that washer is going to be invisible until the magic runs out, unless you think that's going to get someone killed too.
Re: Audio
Thank you, Hanna. I appreciate that.
Re: Audio
Yeah, yeah. Also I know I can't see you but you have glitter in your hair. Have fun getting it out.
[So there, and he's gonna hang up so he can not spend three hours questioning why he is both uncomfortable and sadly nostalgic at the same time. The glue traps will have gotten their few victims the first few days and then they're gone.]
